【City Characteristics】 Lodz Province, with the city of Lodz as its capital, is located in the central part of Poland and is the country's smallest province. With an area of 1 ,520 square kilometers. Its economy is driven by textiles largely, as well as other sectors including agriculture, cattle farming and chemical industry. The province produces cotton and wool textiles centered on its capital.
