西省国际投资活跃，经济增长势头强劲。位于该省的西哈努克港经济特区现为柬规模最大的经济特区，对西省经济贡献率超过50%。西省近海拥有丰富的油气资源，还拥有丰富旅游资源。西省的加工制造、农业、捕捞、纺织和房地产等产业近年来也实现了较快发展。

【Established Date】Tianjin and Sihanoukville Province of Cambodia signed a letter of intent for friendly exchanges and cooperation on October 28, 2018.

【City Characteristics】Sihanoukville Province is located in the southwest of Cambodia. With good infrastructure, land, railway, waterway, air transportation and the only international deep-water port in the country, it is an important trade hub and opening door for Cambodia.

Sihanoukville Province has active international investment and strong economic growth momentum. The Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ) in the Province is now the largest special economic zone in Cambodia, contributing more than 50% to the economy of Sihanoukville Province. Sihanoukville Province is rich in offshore oil and gas resources, and also has abundant tourism resources. In recent years, the processing and manufacturing, agriculture, fishing, textile and real estate industries in Sihanoukville Province have also achieved rapid development.
