According to the Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as of 18:00, 4 February, 1 new case of novel coronavirus was confirmed, making the total number of confirmed cases in Tianjin up to 67.

The 67th case is a 33-year-old female living in Jinnan District, and she drove to Chibi, a county-level city in Hubei Province with her husband and two children on 20 January for the Spring Festival. The woman had a fever on 26 January and took some medicine by herself without seeing doctors. She returned to Tianjin on 31 January and developed a fever again on 2 February and turned to self-medication treatment. Her husband drove her to the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM on 3 February. She was confirmed as the 67th case, in common conditions, in Tianjin on 4 February by the expert panel. The patient is now in Haihe Hospital with stable vital signs. Five close contacts of the patient were traced and other close contacts are under tracking. And terminal disinfection is being conducted to the patient’s house.

Tianjin has confirmed a total of 67 cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus so far, among which 37 are males and 30 females, with 4 in critical conditions,17 in severe conditions and 44 in common conditions. Two patients were discharged from hospital after recovery.
