Three new cases of NCP were confirmed from 18:00, 9 to 6:00, 10 February, bringing the total of NCP cases in Tianjin to 94 according to the Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The 92nd case is a 63-year-old female who lives in Niudaokou Town, Baodi District without travel or working history to Wuhan, and she shopped in the Baodi Department Store on 23 January. She developed fever, nasal obstruction and vomit on 30 January and turned to self-medication treatment. The woman was admitted to the fever clinic of Baodi People’s Hospital on 7 February and was tested positive on 10 February. She was diagnosed as the 92nd confirmed case, in common conditions, in the city by the expert panel and is now in Haihe Hospital. Ten close contacts of the patient are under isolated medical observation and other close contacts are under tracking. Terminal disinfection was conducted to the patient’s house.
The 93rd case is a 50-year-old female who lives in Lintingkou Town, Baodi District, a staff of a company in Lintingkou Development Area without travel or working history to Wuhan, and she did not shop in the Baodi Department Store recently. She went to the fair in the town on 21 and 23 January and had a family party on 27 January. She developed fever, headache and sore muscle on 7 February and turned to self-medication treatment. The woman was admitted to the fever clinic of Baodi People’s Hospital on 9 February and was tested positive on 10 February. She was diagnosed as the 93rd confirmed case, in common conditions, in the city by the expert panel and is now in Haihe Hospital. The possible source of the infection is under investigation. Three close contacts of the patient are under isolated medical observation and other close contacts are under tracking. Terminal disinfection was conducted to the patient’s house.
The 94th case is a 22-year-old female who lives in Koudong Town, Baodi District without travel or working history to Wuhan, a relative of the 75th case, and she did not shop in the Baodi Department Store recently. She developed fatigue, fever and diarrhea on 6 February and was sent to the central quarantine area in Baodi District by an ambulance, and to the fever clinic of Baodi People’s Hospital the following day, recognized as a suspected case. She was tested positive on 10 February and was diagnosed as the 94th confirmed case, in common conditions, in the city by the expert panel. She is now in Haihe Hospital. No close contact of the patient was traced and terminal disinfection was conducted to the patient’s house.
Tianjin has confirmed a total of 94 cases so far, among which 51 are males and 43 females, with 6 in critical conditions, 27 in severe conditions and 56 in common conditions. 279 people were suspected of being infected with the virus. Four patients were discharged from hospital after recovery and one died. A total of 780 close contacts have been traced, and among them, 26 are confirmed cases, 234 have been released from medical observation and 520 others are still under observation.
