Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Tianjin University will extend its online application deadline for doctoral candidates to mid-April to ensure the orderly advancement of the admission.

In light of the severity of the epidemic prevention and control work and the reality of the university’s admission work, Tianjin University will extend the online application deadline for the general doctoral programs and specially planned doctoral programs appropriately. The deadline is expected to be postponed to April 13, which is consistent with the deadline for doctoral programs in engineering. The rest of the admission work will also be postponed in sequence.

To further optimize the enrollment procedures, the university will have a trial run of the combined online and offline system of “application-review”.

As for the admission to the master’s degree programs including the announcement of the preliminary exam scores and the second-round exam arrangement, the university has already made a detailed plan ahead of schedule in collaboration with all the admission departments of the university. The enrollment will start in an appropriate time and in an orderly fashion where all the examinees’ health and the fairness and openness of the enrollment are guaranteed in accordance with the requirements of the higher authorities.
