Five new cases of NCP were confirmed from 18:00, 10 to 6:00, 11 February, bringing the total of NCP cases in Tianjin to 100 according to the Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The 96th case is a 76-year-old male who lives in Lintingkou Town, Baodi District without travel or working history to Wuhan, a relative of the 93rd and 97th cases. He did not shop in the Baodi Department Store recently. The man developed such symptom as fever on 7 February and was admitted to the fever clinic of Baodi People’s Hospital on 9 February. He was tested positive the following day and was confirmed as the 96th case, in common conditions, in Tianjin by the expert panel, and is now in Haihe Hospital. No close contact of the patient was traced and terminal disinfection was conducted to the patient’s house.
The 97th case is a 77-year-old female who lives in Lintingkou Town, Baodi District without travel or working history to Wuhan, a relative of the 93rd and 96th cases. She did not shop in the Baodi Department Store recently. The woman has a history of hypertension and coronary heart disease and developed such symptom as fever on 9 February, and was tested positive the following day. She was confirmed as the 97th case, in common conditions, in Tianjin by the expert panel and is now in Haihe Hospital. No close contact of the patient was traced and terminal disinfection was conducted to the patient’s house.
The 98th case is a 43-year-old male who lives in Haibin Neighborhood Community, Baodi District without travel or working history to Wuhan, a colleague and close contact of the 82nd case. He is a high school teacher and did not shop in the Baodi Department Store recently. The man was tested four times from 2 to 9 February and got a negative test result twice in a row and a positive one in the last two times. He was tested positive again on 10 February and was confirmed as the 98th case, in common conditions, in Tianjin by the expert panel, and is now in Haihe Hospital. Twelve close contacts of the patient are under medical treatment and other close contact of the patient are under tracking.
The 99th case is a 31-year-old female who lives in Dazhongzhuang Town, Baodi District without travel or working history to Wuhan, a relative and close contact of the 64th case. She went to the Baodi Department Store on 20 and 21 January respectively. She was tested four times from 3 to 8 February and got a negative test result three times in a row and a positive one in the last time. The woman was tested positive again on 10 February and was confirmed as the 99th case, in common conditions, in Tianjin by the expert panel, and is now in Haihe Hospital. Three close contacts of the patient are under medical treatment and other close contact are under tracking.
The 100th case is a retired 80-year-old female who lives in Ruijing Neighborhood Community, Beichen District without travel or working history to Wuhan. She visited the fever clinic of Beichen Hospital on 7 February and was admitted to the isolation ward for observation and treatment. She was tested three times from 8 to 10 February and got a negative test result twice in a row and a positive one in the last time. She was tested positive again on 10 February and was confirmed as the 100th case, in common conditions, in Tianjin by the expert panel. The woman is now in Haihe Hospital. The possible source of the infection is under investigation. Four close contacts of the patient are under medical treatment and other close contact are under tracking.
Tianjin has confirmed a total of 100 NCP cases so far, among which 54 are males and 46 females, with 5 in critical conditions, 27 in severe conditions and 58 in common conditions. Eight patients were discharged from hospital after recovery and two died.
