Another four confirmed NCP patients in Tianjin were cured and discharged from Haihe Hospital at 18:00 on 10 February, bringing the total of cured cases in the city to eight.
According to Zhang Dong, deputy chief physician of Ward 2 of the Infectious Disease Department 1, Haihe Hospital, all the four patients (two males and two females), after careful treatment, meet the standard of lifting the quarantine stipulated in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Pneumonia Infected by Novel Coronavirus by China’s National Health Commission.
“They’ve given us hope and boosted our confidence,” the persons recovering from the disease expressed their gratitude to the doctors and nurses in the hospital.
When talking about the patients still struggling with the virus, they added, “Remain confident, cooperate with doctors and nurses to defeat the epidemic, and get well soon.” They also advised the public of “early isolation, early detection and early treatment”.
As the number of people cured continues to rise, medical staffs in Haihe Hospital feel more confident and energized, saying that the coronavirus is not so terrible, and the public are able to stem it as long as they join hands and work together. They are believed to make every effort to win this battle.
