Water Park reopens to public

Parks in Tianjin will be open gradually to the public in an orderly fashion as the COVID-19 epidemic has been relatively well controlled. The Water Park is to be at soft opening on March 17 and officially open the following day.

Opening Hours: 9:00 to 16:00

Closing Hours: 17:00 to 9:00 next day

Entrances and Exits

1. East Gate (located at Shuishanggongyuan East Road)

2. West Gate (located at Shuishanggongyuan West Road, near Zhou-Deng Memorial Station of Metro Line 3)

3. Other entrances and exits are closed.

Public tour areas will be open to visitors while Dongdao, Yingdao, Shenhuyuan, Penjingyuan,Dongxudi (East Wall area) as well as the squares, galleries, flower pavilions and indoor venues where people tend to gather are temporarily closed.

Capacity of Tourists

Based on the daily maximum capacity of the park and situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in Tianjin, andconsidering the capacity of the park’s existing roads and squares, it is decided that the upper limit of visitors in the park, during the controlled operation, should not exceed 5,000 per day. The decision is made with reference to the visitor limit of the same period in previous years,

Prevention and Control Measures at gates:

1. The east and west gates are where visitors enter or leave the park, with the opening notice, tourist signs and tips posted.

2. Visitors need to have their temperature measured and information registered when entering the park every time and notice boards are put at the gates to remind the tourists of wearing a mask and measuring temperature. Only those with a green Health QR Code are allowed to enter the park after scanning the QR code of the “jinmenzhanyi”(津门战役)and the Registration Form of Information of Visitors Entering the Water Park need to be filled in if the QR code scan does not work.

3. Visitors without wearing a mask or with body temperature at or above 37.3and cough symptom are not allowed to enter the park.

4. One-meter line is set at the gates where visitors should keep a distance of over 1.5 meters from each other.

5. No pets and other animals are allowed to enter the park.

6. No visitors are allowed to enter the park after 16:00 and security guards are responsible for explanation and persuasion.

7. Two LED screens at the gates are employed to display the Instructions for Visiting the Water Park amid the COVID-19 Epidemic and epidemic prevention and control knowledge.

Prevention and Control Measures in the Park:

1. Visitors are required to wear a mask throughout tour and keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other.

2. Gatherings are not allowed in the park. Square dancing, group callisthenics, chess and card games, and other group entertainment activities are prohibited.

3. Feeding wild animals is strictly banned.

4. Grid management is implemented. The park shall be divided into grids and grid workers shall devote themselves to carrying out a dynamic, effective and all-round supervision on the COVID-19 prevention and control measures imposed on visitors.

5. Security guards shall guide visitors to leave the park in an orderly manner after 16:00. They shall get everything ready for closing the park at 17:00, which remains closed until 9:00 the next day.
