To strengthen the prevention of imported cases of COVID-19 and their spread and consolidate the visible progress of epidemic control in the city, the Tianjin Headquarters of COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control released a notice on further strengthening the management of all arrivals to Tianjin.
According to the notice, all those who are going to enter Tianjin shall take the initiative or entrust their relatives, friends or those in charge of reception to contact with the communities or villages or call 110 to report the travel and health conditions of these people in a timely manner and consult about the management concerning the epidemic prevention.
The communities or villages shall be ready for information registration and report, and interpretation of policies related to the epidemic prevention and control. They shall check the information of those inbound travelers who enter the communities or villages without report, and report promptly to the Headquarters of COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control of the jurisdiction, and cooperate with the relevant administrative departments to transfer the arrivals to the centralized quarantine sites for medical observation.
Tianjin Railway Station, Tianjin West Railway Station, Tianjin South Railway Station and Tianjin Binhai International Airport will be equipped with specialized connection spots, where the arrivals to Tianjin shall register their information timely and cooperate with the relative departments to be transferred to the centralized quarantine sites for medical observation.
All arrivals shall comply with the laws and rules after entering the city. Those who do not cooperate with quarantine and health checks, and conceal health information and travel or living history to the countries and regions hit hard by the epidemic will be held liable if their behavior causes spreading of the virus or related risks, the notice said.
The notice calls for efforts of the whole society, all citizens and foreigners in the city, to fight against the epidemic by abiding by the rules and safeguarding the hard-won achievements related to epidemic prevention and control.
