Two imported cases of COVID-19 were discharged from hospital amid no newly imported cases in Tianjin from 12:00 to 18:00, April 9. The city has reported a total of 46 imported cases of COVID-19 (42 of Chinese nationality, 2, American, 1, French and 1, Philippine), and among them 21 have been discharged from hospital after recovery and 25 are still being treated with 1 in critical conditions, 17 in common conditions, 6 in mild conditions and 1 in unknown conditions, according to the Tianjin Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The 6th and 25th imported cases have met the standard of being cured and were discharged from hospital on April 9. They have been transferred to the centralized site for medical observation in accordance with the consultation of the expert panel.
Tianjin has confirmed a total of 136 locally transmitted cases so far, among which 73 are males and 63 females. 133 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery and 3 died. 4 people are suspected of being infected with the virus. A total of 3,008 close contacts have been traced, and among them 219 are under medical observation.
The city reports 1 imported asymptomatic case of COVID-19, who is still under medical observation.
