【Established Date】The friendly exchange and cooperation relations between Tianjin and Asturias were officially established on July 2, 1996.

【City Characteristics】Asturias is one of Spain's 17 autonomous communities, located in northern Spain, it covers an area of 10,604 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 78 cities, among which Oviedo is the seat of the administrative organ of the region, and Gijon is the port city of the principality and the third largest port city in Spain.
