【城市特点】首尔是韩国的首都和政治、经济、科技、文化中心，金融、房地产、电信、批发和零售业比重高于韩国其它地区平均水平。首尔市将创新产业、旅游会展产业、社会服务产业列为未来三大新兴产业。旅游会展业的发展目标是将首尔市打造成世界第三大会展中心和国际化大城市。

【合作领域】天津市与首尔市在高层交往、国际会议、环保、公务员培训等领域开展了交流与合作。

【Established Date】Tianjin and Seoul of  the Republic of Korea（ROK） officially established friendly exchange and cooperation relations on April 12, 2009.

【City Characteristics】Seoul is the capital and the political, economic, scientific and cultural center of  the ROK, with a higher proportion of finance, real estate, telecommunications, wholesale and retail trade than the average for the rest of  the country. Seoul has listed innovation industry, tourism and exhibition industry, and social service industry as the three emerging industries in the future. The development goal of tourism and exhibition industry is to make Seoul the third largest exhibition center and international city in the world.
