【Established Date】Tianjin and Bangkok of Thailand officially established friendly exchange and cooperation relations on February 27, 2012.

【City Characteristics】Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. It is the country's main port and political, economic and cultural center. Bangkok is also the second largest city as well as the center of economic activity in Southeast Asia. The United Nations has economic, food, agricultural, health, banking and other institutions  in the city. Many international banks and financial institutions have their regional headquarters in Bangkok. It is a world-renowned rice market with factories for rice milling, textiles, sugar, and construction materials.
