【城市特点】大阪府是日本关西地区重镇，阪神工业地带的中心，日本东西的交通枢纽。世界著名的人工岛屿机场—关西国际机场位于大阪府内。主要产业为钢铁、机械制造、造船、化工、纺织和造纸等。大阪府内多河流，水域面积占大阪总面积的10%以上，有“水都”之称。

【合作领域】天津市与大阪府在高层交往、经贸、环保等领域开展了交流与合作。

【Established Date】Tianjin and Osaka Prefecture of Japan signed a letter of intent to establish exchange and cooperation relations on November 20, 2008.

【City Characteristics】Osaka Prefecture is a  key prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan, the center of the Hanshin industrial zone, and the transportation hub for the east and west of Japan. The world-famous artificial island airport, Kansai International Airport, is located in Osaka Prefecture. Its main industries include steel, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding, chemicals, textile and papermaking. Osaka Prefecture is known as the “Water Capital" because of its many rivers and the fact that more than 10% of the total area of Osaka is covered by water.

【Cooperation Fields】Tianjin and Osaka Prefecture have carried out exchanges and cooperation in high-level visits, economy and trade, environmental protection and other fields.
