【城市特色】亚马逊州位于巴西北部，是巴西最大的一个州， 首府为马瑙斯市。经济以橡胶、巴巴苏坚果、硬木为基础，主要工业有石油提炼、电子、电器、摩托车、食品、橡胶、化学等。为发展该州经济，经联邦政府批准，于1967年成立了玛瑙斯自由贸易区，占地一万平方公里，现已有500多家外商独资或合资企业，投资者主要来自日本、韩国、荷兰等西方国家。

【City Characteristics】Amazonas is located in the north region of Brazil and is the largest state of the country. The capital city is Manaus. Amazonas's economy is primarily driven by rubber, babassu nuts and hardwoods. Its industries mainly include petroleum refining, electronics, electrical appliances, motorcycle, food as well as chemistry. In 1967, with the approval of the federal government, the Manaus Free Trade Zone was established to develop the state economy. Covering an area of over 10,000 square kilometers, the Zone has gathered more than 500 wholly foreign-owned or joint ventures with investors coming from Japan, South Korea and the Netherlands.
